I've never done the...I think this is fantastic. I've never done the 'read the Bible in a year' thing.... Do you ever feel it really rushes through chapters? Do you ever end up 'skim reading' just to get through the allotted section for the day? That's my worry and the reason I've never begun. .... but I'm looking for inspirations to begin!<br />I normally choose a book myself (yes, there are ones I keep going back to!) and read it through (This is for my own private devotions - we have family Bible time, and we began at Genesis and are now in Isaiah. Our evening worship (with Dad) normally has a New Testament book, so we have both in a day).<br />I've often used Spurgeon's Morning and Evening, and will often read the chapter from which his verse for the day comes....<br />So..... it varies, but it's certainly not as consistent as I'd like it to be. :(Homeschool on the Crofthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03400742529025230433noreply@blogger.com
