There was this time our car has some costly engine problems, at a time we could not afford to repair it. The mechanic advised us to trade in the car 'on a good day' as he put it, which wouldn't be honest. Anyway, my husband said "the only way we are going to be able to replace the car is by writing this one off". And guess what?! Few months later, bang, it was written off. Thankfully I survived to tell the tale.<br /><br />Not saying that it happened because he said that, as I don't want to sound superstitious or anything like that (I guess they call it 'tempting fate') but it does make you think to be careful.
